I've been married to classmate Lee Smith for 47 years so life has never been dull. We have two children and three above average grandchildren.

I taught English at Northwest Jr. High, Judge Memorial, and West High for a total of 22 years. Owned and operated A Woman's Place bookstores for 11 years. Currently teaching through the Osher Lifelong Learning Program at the U of U. Check it out-- it's awesome.

In order to perform the marriage ceremony of two of our daughter's friends, I became an ordained internet minister. Among other duties, I am qualified to absolve sins which keeps me very busy. Take a number. I will have a booth at the reunion.

Lee and I are really looking forward to reconnecting with you guys so stay alive.

Sally, It was fun to see you at the reunion...funny, the things we remember about people...me thinking that you were in journalism or had something to do with books. Well, I guess I was on the right track. I'm glad to see you've had an interesting and fulfilling life...I remember Lee well...a really great guy. Hopefully, we'll be able to reminisce in 2040--the 75th reunion of the class of '65. If you or Lee want an interesting read, may I suggest my novel....www.carnivoroussheep.com There is one more novel coming in late 2015 or early '16, and I'm re-publishing a book of my western poetry next year as well. I still can't forget you in your pep club suit! Michael

Bonnie, you have a remarkable outlook-- infectiously cheerful. You always make me smile, even at the gym.

James, you were my very first friend on Princeton Ave. We walked to kindergarten together at Uintah School. I have so many memories of you and your family. We tried so hard to get your older brother David to play board games with us. I thought he was Johnny Carson. He would say "Dig in, fellow pigs!" after the blessing on the food. Your dad worked for Utah Power & Light, and my dad would say, when we left a light on in a room we were leaving, "who do you think I am, Eldo Halliday?" You hated it when I sang "opera". Do you still play the piano? xosally

Sally...you are still so cute and vivacious! Do you remember when we made a circus in your backyard in when we were at Uintah? If I recall, your brother Kent kept teasing us and trying to ruin our efforts! I am planning on attending the EHAG party...what a great idea. Can't wait for the reunion!

Marilyn, I always liked you so much.  And I appreciate the tutoring you provided at Rowland Hall.  I will miss seeing you at the reunion.

Craig, you and I had an intense telephone relationship.  We talked for hours about every little thing.  There was a bit of flirting, but we never got past dancing at the pre-game stomps in the front hall.  Remember those?  I will miss you at the reunion.  I hope you had the happy life that you so clearly deserved.

Lee and I have enjoyed reconnecting with you and getting to know Donna. You have had an incredibly interesting and unique life, which I hope you will share with our classmates. But more importantly, you have always been such a nice person.
