Greg Johnson has left an In Memory comment for Mike Rich.

Mike Rich was an awesome friend.  From singlehandedly carrying a 15 gallon keg across a swolen Emigration Creek to Rat's cabin so that we could all enjoy the festivities to saving the lives of Pappy Fletcher, Fred Pepper and me when we swamped our boat fishing on Deer Creek Reservoir, Rich was always there to help and serve his friends.  Always full of cheer and ready for a challenge - that's the Rich I knew and his memory will always be with me.  I know the Lord has a special place for him to spend eternity and I hope someday to see you again brother.

I have fond memories of our times in the parking lot and Peterson' s and especially Johnny Brown who was my best friend growing up on Rosevelt Ave. I remember that you we always a great guy and it sounds like you still are. See you at the reunion.

Dr. Joe - So glad you signed on. Hope you get a chance to come to the reunion. I remember many weekends hanging out with you and Johnny Brown. I believe you had an MG convertible. Haven't seen you since our 20th reunion, but want to thank you for taking care of my wife Karen when she had a collapsed lung and we brought her into Holy Cross emergency. Sorry to hear about the loss of your wife. My condolences and prayers are with you. I hope to get to see you at the reunion. I've asked John Brown's widow, Carol to attend the dinner with me so she can meet John's high school friends. Looking forward to seeing you brother. Blessings Always.

Greg Johnson has left an In Memory comment for Skip Jacobson.
Jun 29, 2015 at 10:33 AM

Skip Jacobson was a great friend who loved his family, sports and was always looking to help the underdog.  His sense of humor was classic and when you were with him, you were nearly constantly laughing.  He had a great spirit.  His Mom, Harriet was the primary force behind his hard work ethic and he wasn't afraid to step in to help his younger brothers, John and Greg with anything they needed.  Skip had a horrible experience in Vietnam.  At the time we didn't understand PTSD, but Skip's experience in Khe Sanh left him virtually lost for nearly 3 years after,  during which he spent most of his time in his Mother's basement.  Skip was a treasure to all those who knew him and he is sorely missed.  Hopefully, some of us who knew him, who shared his experience in Vietnam will take the time to visit his gravesite and honor this valiant warrior and loving friend.
