Lots of teaching, performing, hiking, traveling, enjoying grandchildren, and repairing my house. Performed over 30 leading roles in musicals and operas, taught voice at the U of U for 17 years, soloed with the Utah Symphony and other orchestras and choirs, started the hospital arts program at the U, still performing and sometimes with classmates, Rosemary Beless and Camille Sanders Cook. Enjoy seeing my students have wonderful opportunities to perform and grow. Had some health challenges and now am doing well. Every day is a gift and an adventure!

Hi Katie. Great to learn of your wonderful life. Brings back fond memories of the old Bonneville ward growing up. I have great respect for your father Bert and all he did for the youth in that ward.

Wow! That’s a lot of leading roles in musicals and operas! My mom saw you in one of them years ago– “My Fair Lady,” and said you were great. Of course, that is one you would know well since I remember you singing a song from “My Fair Lady” in a traveling “assembly” in junior high. You were great then and even better as you starred in “Showboat” at East. I’m glad to hear you have continued to share your talents with others through performances and in teaching. I look forward to seeing you at the reunion!

I remember you well! You had killer beautiful voice and I was always amazed at how wonderfully you sang in our musicals!!!
