Roger and I lived just a few blocks apart on the Avenues, and I remember him as part of our elementary school "gang" and ward.  He was always so funny and made everyone want to be around him.  Just a great guy!

Roger was a very important and crucial member of our 40 Year East High Reunion Planning Committee.  What a blessing it was to have him offer his services for this good cause and enjoy his great friendship over a number of months.  He was responsible for getting everyone's information online and did such a thorough job.  As always, Roger was witty, fun and reliable.  He probably devoted more time to the effort than anyone else and did so with a good heart.  I looked forward to his company at our meetings and the opportunity to share ideas and conversation.  Many of us are really missing this wonderful friend and wish so much he were here with us.

Roger and I worked together in the early years of computers. My wife and I traveled to Guatemala to picked up a baby boy at an orphanage for Roger's brother Dick Neslen. Twenty two years later, Roger organized a surprise reunion for my wife and I to meet the boy at his wedding dinner. It was the first time we saw him since we delivered him to the Neslen's. Over the years, Roger and my paths met.
