
David Ray Ware, age 60, of Battlefield, Mo., passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2007, at his home in Battlefield, Mo. He was born April 11, 1947 in Sandy, UT, the son of Amasa and Stella (Bearden) Ware. He was preceded in death by his parents and one granddaughter Alison Cross. He is survived by his wife Lucienne (Gehring) Ware of the home; three daughters, Tiffany Ware of Norfolf, Va., Heather Ware of Springfield, Mo., and Davia Ware of Battlefield, Mo., one sister, Colene Ware of Los Gatos, Calif., one brother, Max Ware of Draper, Utah, and eight grandchildren; Holly and Sean Cross, Daniel and Zachary Ware, and Cullen, Caleb and Shannon Dobbins. Arrangements are being handled by Walnut Lawn Funeral Home LTD, 2001 W. Walnut Lawn St., Springfield, Mo. Where the family will recieve friends from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM Friday December 28, in the Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Saturday December 29 at 2:00 PM in the Walnut Lawn Funeral Home Chapel. Interment with full military honors will be at Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Springfield, Mo, at a later date. David served in the US Army as a Master Sargeant and spent time in VIetnam.
