Ann Carlson 1947 - 2023

With sadness and great love, the family of Ann Carlson announces her passing on January 2, 2023. Ann was born September 16, 1947, in Salt Lake City, to Ralph Thiriot and Joyce Barber (Bosworth). She is survived by Shawn Carlson (son), Stephen Carlson (stepson), Christeen Carlson (stepdaughter), Karen Hafer (sister), Kaye Thiriot (sister) and Brent Thiriot (brother), along with many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Ann was preceded in death by her husband Don and stepdaughter Deborah Householder. Ann graduated from East High School in 1965. She married Don in 1974 and had their son Shawn. Ann spent her life in Salt Lake City Utah married to Don. Ann was a devoted wife, caring sister, amazing mother and a true friend. She loved her family and friends. Ann enjoyed entertaining all of them with her delicious cooking, inviting home and beautiful gardens. We will all miss her big laugh and kind words. She will be greatly missed by those that have known her. Our family would like to extend out our overwhelming gratitude to her great neighbors and the caregivers at Salt Lake Regional Hospital for all the kindness and generosity they have shared with Ann. A celebration of life will be held for Ann, Friday, February 3, 2023 at the Sugar House Garden Center, 1602 E 2100 S, Salt Lake City, Utah 84106 from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M.
