Shari Ann Lords, of Orange, CA, passed away July 31, 2016, with family and friends by her side. She was born to the late Glenn Lords & Virginia Lords Douglas, November 22, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from East High School and during her school years she became very proficient in ballet, and loved to roller skate and snow ski. She married Robert Nichols in 1965, moved to Los Angeles, CA and began racing corvettes for fun. She had two children, Michelle in 1966 and Troy in 1970. In 1975 they moved to Newport Beach and as the family grew up, they loved sailing the CA coast, camping, and motorcycle riding on the Baja trails and beaches. Sharis favorite profession was an Instructor of computer software and implementation. In 1978, she divorced and moved to Irvine with her children. She acquired her 'Bachelor's Degree in Business Management' from the University of Phoenix in November 1997. In 1998, Shari moved to Washington to live with her daughter, son-in-law and 3 grandsons, she was a most wonderful “G-ma” and nanny. In late 2006, Shari met Stoney Bourke at the Elks Lodge. Later in 2007, after their first ride on the “Harley” they fell in love, purchased a home in Orange, CA and were married in June, 2009. Stoney and Shari enjoyed traveling and riding their Harley and being very involved with the Elks Lodge. Shari is survived by her adoring husband, Stoney Bourke, her fun loving brother, Richard Gordon Lords, and loving children Michelle P Fetters and Robert Troy Nichols, and many caring cousins and longtime friends.
