Thomas Eugene Hinckley died July 8, 2013 and is buried in the Veteran's Memorial Park in Bluffdale. He was born June 1, 1947 in Salt Lake CIty, Utah

Served in SPS US Army in Vietnam from 8 May 1969 to 9 April 1960. He obtained the ran of SP5, was awarded the Nation Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal and the Vietnam Campaign Medal.  Tom spent most of the years after Vietnam in the retail industry specifically with Rite Aide and the Walgreen organizations. He was a trusted employee serving in many capacities including assistant store director and store director, a position he held until his medical disability.

Tom married Debbie Grassman. She brought four children to their marriage. Debbie indicated that they began and ended each day with a kiss and "I love you".  Tom was a Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Debbie indicated that it was Tom's desire to go to the temple with her and he was on that path until his severe medical conditions happened which eventually took his life.
