Steven Walter Atencio, age 57, passed away in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 25, 2005. 

Born March 17, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah, son of Anthony Walter and Olga Amelia Shortt Atencio. 

Survived by children: Ashley, Joshua and Katie Atencio; stepson, Christopher Snyder; sisters and brother Barbara (Gary) Knowles, Mike (Marilyn) Atencio and Sylvia (Curtis) Tatton. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Linda.

Funeral services were held Friday, 1:30 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road.  Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
