Linda Anne Harrington, age 52, died Wednesday, March 15, 2000 after a long courageous battle with liver disease. She was born on June 7, 1947 to Edith F. and Bruce P. Harrington in Salt Lake City, Utah.After graduating from East High School, Linda began her career with the University Medical Center, where she worked until the time of her death. She enjoyed the theater, traveling, music (especially Dixieland Jazz), her dog Snooky, reading and knitting. But, most of all, she enjoyed the rich time spent with her friends and family. Linda was like a light in the darkness and she did many quiet, random acts of kindness. We love her and will miss her. Linda is survived by her dad, Bruce; a brother, Ross; her nieces, April and Elisha; nephews, Tommy and Jason; and a great-niece, Shawnee Rose. Other survivors include cousins, Jan Burke, Lori Torok, David and Douglas Lusty, their families and many special close friends. The family wishes to thank her caregivers at the University Medical Center for their compassionate care and her friends for their loving vigil. |
