Marlies and I had several business classes together, and she was always a sterling student.  The type teacher (remember typing?) always gave us tough assignments to improve our speed and accuracy.  Between that and shorthand (remember shorthand?), we were ready to conquer the world!!  Quiet, but dedicated is how I will remember her.

I do remember her, don't know if I was in her typing or shorthand class or not but those classes were great, learning to type early on had a great influence on my computer and business skills. Many of my friends to this day still type with two fingers.

Marlies and many other classmates left this earth too early, has anyone found the obituary of Marlies or Tom Timmons?

Hope it helps.

DeAnna,

Thank you that gives me quite a bit of information, I didn't realize that she was born in Bern Switzerland. We could be related, I will have to do some checking, my grandmother was born in Bern as well.

You are doing a great service for our classmates for finding out information of those who have passed on, thanks again.

Steve
