Della Charlene Winward (1947 - 2014)

     Della Charlene Winward was born August 29, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Delbert Charles and Eleanor Woolsey Wells. She passed away quietly on Friday, December 19, 2014 at the age of 67.
      Della married the love of her life, Robert "Terry" Winward Sr., in Utah on September 2, 1966 at the age of 19. Della and Terry loved spending time with their five children. They were kept busy in various activities from paper routes to Boy Scouts, Della always being supportive. Della and Terry continued to love their time with family, often traveling to Utah and Western Washington to visit. Traveling became one of Terry and Della's passions. They took many road trips. One of Della's favorite destinations was Yellowstone National Forest. She enjoyed watching animals in their natural habitat. Terry and Della had many great adventures together traveling to Canada, Florida, Hawaii, Jerusalem, and Mexico. She also loved to oil paint. She spent many, many hours painting masterpieces that her family will treasure.
     Della was preceded in death by both of her parents, brothers-in-law Dick and Jack Winward, and Marlin Green. She is survived by her husband, Terry, children, "Robert" Terry Winward, Jr. (Shelli); Jeffrey Dean Winward (Kathi); Christine Lee Winward; Karen Lynn Winward Jenkins (Nathan); and Kimberly Ann Winward Drake (Tom); 18 grandchildren; sister, Jacqueline Green; sisters-in-law, Pauline and Ruth Winward; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Boyd and Lueve Whitby.
     Services will be held at the LDS Church, 515 South Union Street, Kennewick, WA, Saturday, December 27, 2014, 11:00 AM. Visitation is at 10:00 AM.
