Hal and I had the privilege of dancing in one of the All Church Dance Festivals. He was a fun, kind and entertaining guy. He was a great friend to all who knew him. I will miss him.
Remember our sophmore year when Hal danced for an assembly? He had fallen in the previous performance and he was limping badly through the second performance. It turned out he had broken an ankle and yet he was dancing on it. Some laughed, but when the facts came out, the school held him in high esteem. Didn't we elect him the class AB of E rep? You couldn't not like Hal.
I knew Dennis from Third grade on. We had some dancing lessons in PE at Webster Elementry. He danced with me. He was an awesome guy. He walked me home one time and when he saw my house he said that it was just what he imagined ,a witch house. you see I had a birthday party in the third grade and he thought he was the only one I didn't invite. Not true but it seemed to be. No hard feelings though. We got along.
Carol Hall (Bartholomew)
I remember that Harold won a contest when we were sophomores for wearing "the best red & white outfit"
on a game day. As I recall, he wore a pair of red pants and and a white shirt. He was such a fun guy!
He was kind and friendly to everyone.
